Planted is a frantic multiplayer brawler where ordinary gardening is transformed into a full-fledged sport. You need to plot beds, plant seeds, water the crops, and simultaneously make sure no one steals your fertilizer or throws a pumpkin in your face. It all starts as a peaceful gardening chore, but the next minute, vegetables are flying, weed bombs are exploding, and a potato turret is spraying the entire plot with projectiles. A garden where no one is going to play fair Each arena constantly disrupts the normal plan. In one, traps get in the way, in another, strange local creatures that don't care about your crops. While one player tries to grow the perfect crop, another calmly drills into their garden beds and launches vegetables into the sky. There's no sense of a "calm farm simulator" here at all — it's all about chaos, sabotage, and trying to ruin someone else's crop before they ruin yours. Vegetables, too, quickly descend into chaos. Harvests can be sold, stolen, or immediately turned into weapons. Potato turrets, weed bombs, strange cloning experiments — the further the match goes, the more it resembles a cartoonish war between gardeners who've long forgotten why they started digging in the ground in the first place.
