Key Features You play as the White King, ruler of the White Kingdom, whose domains were suddenly attacked by the undead and black figures. The result was devastating — all the figures began to destroy the buildings they had once built. You will have to engage in battle against Evil, but to achieve victory you will need the help of the White Queen and several other subjects. The task promises to be anything but easy. The most interesting aspect is the combination of two genres in a single game. You'll have to play chess while simultaneously engaging in strategic battles. There's not much left of chess here. For example, a black piece can't be simply captured. It can simultaneously attack a white piece, turning it into an ally that will then play against you. This description may seem overly complicated, but in practice, it's more than simple. The atmosphere deserves special mention. Each battle presents a unique, unparalleled story. You'll face off against opponents while simultaneously completing a series of tasks. Furthermore, each level offers a unique environment, complete with engaging dialogue. All of this contributes to a fully immersive experience. Additionally, Pawn of the Dead will delight you with a number of unique modes. For example, you can play with a friend on the same screen. You can also enter a unique battle mode between zombies and the queen. The battlefields are constantly changing.
