Path of Survivors – a pixelated survival autobattler with roguelike elements from the small studio Limited Input. The game was released on PC in January 2024, and the developer later continued its development under the name Novivors. Six fighters against the crowd A squad of up to six heroes fights on their own. Hundreds of enemies appear on the screen at once, and your task isn't to mash attack buttons, but to assemble a team that can outlast the horde. There are six classes, over forty abilities, over fifty items, and the real fun begins when they begin to buff each other. If you don't like the automatic combat, you can control your heroes manually or combine the two. Tree of a thousand knots The game's main feature, inherited from larger RPGs, is a passive progression tree. It has over a thousand nodes, requiring careful planning: where to go to strengthen a specific class, and what to skip to achieve that goal. After defeating a boss, you can choose a reward that modifies one of your abilities. Equipment is crafted to extend the life of your fighters in battle. Experience accumulates between runs Experience and loot are saved after each run, so you start your next run better prepared. Progress from the demo carries over to the full game.
