Otherside Tapes: Favela is a first-person horror film about an urban explorer who finds himself in a place where reality obeys strange and terrifying rules. In 2006, Cláudio da Silva arrives in Favela das Almas, hoping to find Calle 7, surrounded by stories of mysterious disappearances. These events are linked to a devastating fire that occurred there many years ago. However, the further the explorer ventures, the more an ordinary stroll turns into a confrontation with inexplicable forces controlling everything around him. The Secret of Seventh Street Trapped, Claudio is forced to navigate distorted versions of familiar places, where familiar routes no longer lead where they should. Narrow alleys, cramped spaces, rooftops, and secret passages create the feeling of a confined space, from which finding an exit is nearly impossible. Claudio must reconstruct the area's history from the details of the surroundings, noticing traces of rituals and gradually uncovering the circumstances of a long-ago tragedy.
