About the game

Open Waters It's a horror story about being alone in the middle of the ocean, drifting on a small boat amid fog, darkness, and creatures you'd rather not see. There's almost no map, no real landmarks. Just a compass, sonar, the sound of the engine, and water in all directions. You constantly have to scan the horizon, listen for strange sounds, and try to figure out where to go next. The ocean here presses harder than the monsters themselves. Silence, waves, thick fog, and a feeling of complete loss are far more devastating than any jump scare. Sometimes, just as you're swimming along, you start hearing something beneath the boat or noticing movement in the water. At such moments, even the engine becomes a problem — too much noise easily attracts whatever's hunting in the depths. So sometimes it's safer to simply turn off the engine and wait. Along the way, you encounter old platforms, abandoned stations, and other places that have long since rotted away in the ocean. You can find clues, resources, and ways to escape, but that doesn't make you feel any safer. Tight spaces, rusty structures, and the feeling that someone is still inside make these forays almost more terrifying than the open sea itself. The game constantly reminds you of the main rule: don't fall into the water. You're no longer a guest there. Features of the game Navigation via compass and sonar. Dynamic weather and thick fog.
