The protagonist is a necromancer cat, and he doesn't select spells from a menu: you draw them directly on the screen with your mouse. Paw magic The mouse in this game works like a magic wand. Draw the right glyph, and the spell is cast: a portal opens, the room changes, or a ghost comes to life. Ghosts come in different varieties, and each requires its own resurrection sign, so the symbols must be memorized and drawn carefully. There are encounters with ghosts along the way, but most of the time is spent solving puzzles. The game is linear, making it difficult to get lost, but each room is designed with a specific task in mind. Two worlds in one tower The entire action takes place in the nine-story Tombstone Tower. Each room has two layouts: one in the world of the living, one in the world of the dead. A portal switches between them, and where there's a wall in one world, there may be a passage to the other. The door to the next world will only open once all the ghosts in both versions of the room have been resurrected. Hence the main puzzle: figuring out what's where and in what order to switch between worlds. Travelers and the mystery of the summit The cat has come to the tower to awaken its ghosts from their restless slumber. Along the way, he meets other travelers, each with their own story and reason for climbing up, and you can talk to them. The game gradually reveals what awaits on the top floor.
