MELFIAS Azure and Crimson Verge — is a gothic RPG with a cyber-fantasy vibe, where the world has already been lost. People are cornered and surviving wherever they can, while the power of the vampire queen Dacrima hangs over everything. You play as Melfi, a hunter who betrayed her own kind to destroy her own kind. Together with her partner Shizuma, she sets out for the Holy City, realizing that this is not a quest for victory, but an attempt to change something in a system that has long since rotted. A story where everything breaks down Along the way, everything quickly becomes more than just a simple mission. Gustav appears — a former ally now on the other side, with a power that affects not only the body but also the mind. His abilities press upon the very nature of vampires, breaking the boundaries between will and desire. The entire story begins to revolve around how the characters change under this pressure: trust cracks, motives become confused, and the line between struggle and destruction gradually blurs. The world is presented through atmosphere and situations: dark streets, depressed people, a sense of control and hopelessness. As the story progresses, it becomes clear that there will be no "clean" victory. Every decision has consequences, and the characters themselves gradually find themselves drawn into a conflict where not only their actions matter, but also what's happening inside them.
