The company acquired the rights to the 1990s hit a couple of years ago, in 2013. Remake: What we're in for isn't a reimagining, but a reboot. This primarily refers to new graphics. The sound has also been improved. It's worth noting that the characters will be voiced by star actors, though their names haven't been revealed. The soundtrack will remain the same, but it will be redesigned, as will the user interface. So, we're in for a classic in a new package — one that appeals to modern gamers. Wargaming CEO Andres Chilkovsky notes that the modernized Master of Orion — it's a return to tradition. For him and his colleagues, this project marks a career milestone. Nothing changed: The essence remains the same: you need to explore, expand your territory, wisely exploit resources, and destroy enemies. As a reminder, this is a classic turn-based strategy game in the 4X style. Events Master of Orion Set in space, the game features 10 races seeking to assert their power through diplomacy, technology, and military might. Each uses six types of spacecraft. Ships can be customized with a variety of engines, guns, scanners, armor, and much more. The developers claim 75 different technologies, allowing for hundreds of starship customization options. When will it be released? Is it possible to ignore the release date? It's impossible, but so far nothing has been announced. But the wait is clearly not long, especially compared to the years that have passed since the last game in the series: Master of Orion III, after which the franchise's development stalled. And now it's been given a new start. I wonder if there will be other parts of the legendary strategy?
