Plot Master of Magic Classic Well known to many strategy fans, this is a fairly old game. It's set in Arcanus, a world ruled by wizards and inhabited by magical races. The player is immersed in the events of two dimensions. Arcanus is a friendly world. Despite the complex relationships between wizards, they all practice white magic. In some ways, Arcanus is similar to our planet. Another dimension, Mirror, is also ruled by wizards, but they practice a completely different kind of magic. The game is played from the perspective of one of the wizards. Victory in the strategy game can be achieved in three ways. You can conquer both worlds by force, eliminating all other rulers and annexing their lands. Alternatively, you can take a more mundane approach by forming an alliance that can defeat your opponent. The third option involves completing a complex and lengthy quest, culminating in the acquisition of the "Dominion" spell. Once a character receives the spell, they can use it to destroy all rivals. The method used to complete the game does not affect the overall gameplay — either way, you will have to develop your character's magical power in battles and fight for sources of magic. The player will still encounter hostile wizards and races reluctant to acknowledge their dominance. The gameplay is typical of the genre: it's one of those games that shaped the concept of fantasy gaming worlds. Numerous races inhabit a vast world with recognizable locations — monster lairs, castles, dungeons, caves, and special magical nodes for casting spells. The character's magical development tree, in general, resembles a technological tree. To see for yourself that the game is a charming, timeless classic of the genre, download the torrent.
