Living with a Little Fox Girl is a casual simulator with elements of time management and relationship development. The player assumes the role of the new caretaker of an old shrine and is given a limited thirty days to restore order and establish contact with its guardian spirit, a fox named Mao. The balance between duty and companionship determines the outcome of the story. Mechanics of interaction Each game day consists of a series of activities: cleaning, groundskeeping, conversations, and shared rituals. Time is a crucial resource, and the proper distribution of tasks affects Mao's trust. As the bond strengthens, new scenes, dialogues, and opportunities for shared life open up, while irrational decisions lead to distance and a changed ending. The system is built on the gradual development of affection. Mao's emotional reactions depend on the player's choices, the shrine's purity level, and the atmosphere of the interaction. The ending is determined by the level of trust: from a frosty parting to an ideal outcome in which Mao allows the player to stay longer. The mechanics are simple, but require planning and attention to detail. Features of the game A time management simulator with a limited time limit of 30 in-game days.
