Live Or Die – a first-person horror action game from Diabolical and Zygobot, released in late October 2021. The protagonist awakens in a boarded-up room, with only one way to escape: by playing by the rules of a madman who calls himself the Game Master. Rules of a Madman The plot is simple and dark, like in movies about maniacs with traps. The game master gives instructions, and you follow them because there are no other options. You can't trust him: his clues could very well lead directly to death, and the creators emphasize this from the very beginning. Each stage combines puzzles with survival tests and fights. The story has several endings. Nine levels with clowns The game has nine levels, structured like a roller coaster ride: a puzzle gives way to a deadly trap, a trap gives way to an ambush. The main enemies are clowns. Each one's behavior depends on the mask they're wearing, so different enemies require different approaches. At some point, the Game Master himself enters the fray. There's plenty of blood and violence; the game is intended for mature audiences. From an axe to a machine gun There are four basic weapons, from an axe to an assault rifle. A double-barreled shotgun can be found along the way, significantly increasing your chances of survival. The project is small and inexpensive, and there's a demo available on Steam.
