Legacy of Shadows – a mountain mansion survival horror game from independent developer Ethan Kobo, released on May 26, 2025. The game has a Japanese title, Legacy of Shadows, and is unrelated to the stealth games Thief VR: Legacy of Shadow or Ereban: Shadow Legacy. A house inherited and a debt to boot The plot is mundane, without any mysticism at the outset. The hero inherits his deceased uncle's house high in the mountains, and along with it, a large debt. The plan is simple: gather everything of value left in the mansion, sell it, and pay it off. It soon becomes clear that something is wrong with the house, and its past is gradually coming to light. The objects you find and remove form the story of an old grudge, harbored here many years ago. Shadows in the corridors The game's main activity is searching rooms and stealing finds to sell and pay off debts. But dark figures roam the hallways, and you can't encounter them; you have to hide and avoid them. Carrying valuables is risky, so every entry into the house becomes a choice: take more and risk it, or return with what you already have. As you explore, the hero learns new skills, and you can tailor your character development to suit your style. Highscore tables For those who enjoy replaying the game, there are leaderboards for time and score. A Core i5-2400, 8GB of memory, and a GTX 750 Ti are required to run the game; around 4GB of disk space is required. Download the torrent. Legacy of Shadows On PC you can find it on this page.
