Two teams of five play on a single map, and everything depends on champion selection, teamwork, and the ability to read the opponent. Summoner's Rift The main mode takes place on a map with three lanes and a jungle between them. Minion waves move along the lanes, protected by towers and inhibitors, and at the very end is a nexus that must be destroyed. Each role has its own role: the top and middle players hold the lanes, the jungler moves between them and sets up ambushes, and the bottom lane pair consists of a marksman and a support. Killing dragons and Baron Nashor grants team buffs, so these objectives are where the biggest fights occur. The average game lasts about half an hour.
