Lawnmower Game Battle – the third installment in the Lawnmower Game series from developer Tero Lunkka, in collaboration with Valkeala Software and Blackthug, was released on October 5, 2021. Here, no one mows the grass: instead, a lawnmower is armed and unleashed into an arena against other similar machines. It shares only the theme with Lawnmower Maniac. Lawn mowers with flare guns The premise is simple and slightly absurd. You control a gun-toting lawnmower and fight against computer-controlled lawnmowers, which also have guns. The base weapon, a rifle, fires an unlimited supply of ammo. Other weapons are obtained from mysterious boxes scattered throughout the levels: they might contain a flamethrower, a rocket launcher, or a grenade launcher — you never know what you'll get. Targets are switched with buttons, so in a crowd of enemies, you can quickly choose who to finish off first. More than twenty arenas Battles take place in themed arenas, with the Steam page listing the number as either 20 or 23. These include sci-fi maps, a Western setting, and food-themed levels. Each arena contains a hidden star, and collecting these stars unlocks Steam achievements. There are four vehicles to choose from. A modest indie game The game was developed in Unreal Engine by a small team and features a minimalist look, without the pretensions of a large budget. The series is released under the Tero Lunkka brand, and the games are sold together as a bundle on Steam.
