Last Year is an interactive adventure that tells the story of a small-town school. The town was attacked by a virus, killing almost all its inhabitants. However, five young students managed to escape the virus by entering the school and are still there. The school protects them and provides them with shelter from terrifying, aggressive individuals driven mad by the virus. However, things aren't as smooth as they seem: one of these individuals has managed to infiltrate the school, and now the time has come for the students to wage an epic battle against the terrifying maniac. Last Year is a multiplayer adventure where players choose a side — the schoolchildren or the maniac — and strive to achieve their goal: destroying their opponents. Players can choose from five characters on each side, each with their own unique abilities that can impact the outcome of the battle. While all characters are balanced, they require careful use and a thorough understanding of the school's layout. Battles take place in real time, requiring meticulous attention to detail to ensure success.
