Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris is a sequel to the once-popular spin-off, which was much better received than other installments in the main series. This time, you'll experience a rather interesting plot based on Egyptian mythology. According to folklore, the god Osiris ruled with nobility and intelligence, but was eventually killed by his brother, Set. Isis, Osiris's wife, did everything she could to revive her husband, and she succeeded. They then conceived a child and named him Horus. Upon learning of this, Set decided to imprison the goddess, steal the staff, and execute Osiris as a public example. He then descended into the underworld, from which he was never able to return. The Temple of Set has been abandoned for millennia, but brave tomb raider Lara Croft makes her way there, and an incredible race for the treasure begins with archaeologist Kareth Bel. The heroine sets out to find the famous staff on her own and nearly falls into a trap. The would-be seekers are thus cursed with a terrible curse, but they manage to save the goddess and her son.
