Jotun was developed by a Canadian studio headed by William Dube. The project is a walkthrough game with action elements. The plot follows the protagonist as he embarks on a journey to Purgatory. The game is based on ancient Scandinavian mythology. The Norse Viking Thor, who died in battle, died not as a hero, and to defend his warrior's honor, he must undertake a long journey to the gods. He will have to trudge far and wide, battling various mythical monsters along the way. Ultimately, he must make every effort to reach paradise — or Valhalla. After all, only valiant warriors have the right to dwell in this heavenly realm of Asgard. Game features: - The gameplay is filled with collecting runes needed to challenge the Jotuns (these are huge Norse elementals) to a duel. The project strictly adheres to the principle of easy and clear controls, furious and unusual bosses, and a completely open world. The game world is procedurally generated, allowing you to explore it, discover and solve various puzzles, discover new runes, altars of the gods, and more. - The game does not provide statistics on killed monsters or experience gained to level up. To win the battle, the player will have to rely on their combat skills, as the battles in the game are quite challenging – the weapon is a huge two-handed axe, with which they must try to defeat an enemy that is much superior to the hero.
