About the game
Janet DeMornay Is A Slumlord is a psychological horror puzzle game inspired by classics of the genre, where a routine inspection of a rental apartment unexpectedly turns into a real nightmare. After receiving a message about an unscheduled visit from your landlady, you try to tidy up the apartment, but quickly realize that escaping is much more difficult than simply finishing the cleaning. The house begins to live by its own terrifying rules. Behind every door lies a new strangeness. The rooms gradually transform into a labyrinthine maze of unusual devices, strange mechanisms, and puzzles that require careful attention. As you explore the house, you have to search for objects, decipher notes and diaries, and figure out why your neighbors are acting increasingly strange. The atmosphere is built not on battles, but on constant tension and the feeling that the house itself is trying to drive you crazy. As the story progresses, new details about the house's owner and the surrounding environment are revealed. The story gradually connects everyday problems with mystical events, making one increasingly doubt the reality of what's happening. Fully voiced characters, unusual camera angles, and extensive exploration create a tense adventure in which danger looms large in almost every room. Features of the game A psychological horror game with puzzles and no combat system. Exploration of a large house with unusual mysteries. Fully voiced story campaign. Fixed camera angles in the spirit of classic horror films.
