About the game

INFERIUS — is a dark, first-person roguelike where Dante's Inferno meets Lovecraftian nightmares, forcing you to survive among creatures you'd rather not see in the dark. Each new descent is a journey through circles of hell, each with its own rulers, monsters, and rules. You can't simply assemble a "big gun" and rush forward. Everything hinges on tarot, symbols, seals, and a deck you build as you progress. Circles of hell Limbo still seems like a tolerable place, but then things get really nasty. The darkness is constantly oppressive, the lantern becomes almost as important a tool as the maps, and the creatures around you react to the slightest mistakes. Sometimes it's easier to hide and wait it out than to try to pick a fight with whatever crawls out of the next corridor. Especially when your mind is already starting to go crazy from everything going on around you. The deck here feels like the only chance to avoid dying too quickly. Cards can be enhanced, combined with symbols, and assembled to suit completely different playstyles. One build is built around control and caution, another transforms the character into a crazed fanatic, charging headlong through hell. But the game still regularly reminds you that death is part of the process, and the next run will begin somewhere between darkness, fear, and a new circle of hell. Features of the game A first-person roguelike set in Dante's Inferno. Tarot cards and strategic deck building. 9 circles of hell with their rulers and horrors. Stealth, flashlight and survival in the dark.
