About the game
I Have No Change is a first-person narrative game about working at a late-night kiosk somewhere in the Russian provinces. The player spends winter shifts behind a small window, serving random customers and listening to others' conversations about everyday life, problems, relationships, and a life that has long since gone wrong. Instead of action or puzzles, everything here is built on dialogue, people-watching, and the feeling of a lingering winter night. A kiosk among empty streets Different people constantly pass through the window. Some come for cigarettes after their shift, some complain about the water being turned off, and some start telling you things you wouldn't normally say to strangers. The game perfectly captures the feeling of a New Year's Eve night in the city, when even a casual conversation lasting a few minutes suddenly becomes more captivating than any "great plot twist." Matvey himself gradually fades into the background and begins to reveal himself through these conversations and his own thoughts among the customers. Work has long since become routine, the days repeat themselves identically, and it seems nothing will change ahead. Because of this, the ordinary night kiosk begins to feel like a small, closed world, where the stories of others gradually force the hero to reflect on his own life. Features of the game A first-person narrative game. Dialogues with residents of a provincial town. The winter atmosphere of late night shifts. Music from domestic performers.
