I am Coin is a physics puzzle game about a coin that's tired of being dangled around in pockets and decided to become something more. Instead of the usual platforms and characters, you control an ordinary penny as it rolls across tables, shelves, and other household objects. Any surface can become an obstacle or, conversely, a help to reach your goal. The key is to not overestimate your abilities and end up in a place from which you'll have a long way to go. One jump can ruin everything. Movement requires throws and rolls. The task seems simple, but you quickly realize how easy it is to misjudge the force or direction. Sometimes the desired spot is just a few centimeters away, and sometimes a well-timed jump sends the coin flying halfway across the room. Because of this, even small sections of the route force you to carefully look around and find the most convenient route. The environment constantly throws up new ideas for traversal. Sometimes you can use a sloped surface to gain momentum, sometimes it's more advantageous to carefully jump over a dangerous section, and sometimes the best option turns out to be the most unexpected. Gradually, you begin to see ordinary objects as elements of a vast obstacle course that must be overcome for the next step toward the cherished goal.
