Each new material enhances equipment and opens access to further progression, but these enhancements have a downside. Passive growth is combined with automated combat, where preparation and choice of upgrades determine the outcome of encounters. The dungeon contains over a thousand levels, hiding enemies, riddles, and rare events. Additional development opportunities open up in the camp, and encounters with mysterious entities gradually reveal the true purpose of the journey.
