Heir of the Dog begins with a failed experiment, the consequences of which Cummerbund Bandersnatch could hardly have foreseen. After a mysterious explosion over Victorian London, he visits his uncle's laboratory and discovers a strange formula there. Curiosity overcomes caution: Cummerbund drinks the prepared substance and soon discovers that his body has undergone monstrous changes. The Curse of Bandersnatch Now the hero must deal with the consequences of his rash act and discover the truth behind his relative's experiments. His search for an antidote gradually leads him onto the trail of a secret society, whose conspiracy involves members of the royal family. Among London's back streets, he encounters some very unusual characters, and the investigation becomes increasingly bizarre. Two sides of London The adventure's main feature revolves around the changing time of day and character appearance. During the day, Cummerbund retains his human form, but at nightfall, he transforms into a dog. This affects available actions, the behavior of others, and the possibilities for exploration. Some obstacles must be navigated as a human, while others are easier to overcome in canine form. As the story progresses, it opens up even more ways to explore familiar places. Puzzles and investigation Exploration is built on classic mouse-controlled adventure principles. You need to examine objects, collect useful items, talk to townspeople, and put the clues you find to use. Time management plays a special role: the cycle of day and night changes the environment and opens up new ways to solve problems.
