About the game
Headquarters: Cold War — is a turn-based strategy game about a world teetering on the brink. The year is 1984. The Cold War ceases to be a political game and becomes an open confrontation between NATO and the USSR. You assume command at a time when any miscalculation could change the course of history — and not for the better. A battlefield where every detail matters Battles require precise calculation and spatial awareness. Vehicle armor has specific directions, terrain affects survivability, and destroyed buildings and crippled vehicles instantly change the balance of power. High ground provides an advantage, destruction opens new lines of fire, and every positional error is quickly punished. There are no one-size-fits-all solutions — only constant adaptation to the situation. Campaigns allow you to experience the conflict from both sides, immersing yourself step by step in an alternative version of modern history. You form troops, appoint commanders, develop units, and utilize headquarters capabilities — from supply and missile strikes to extreme measures capable of erasing the map. The atmosphere is enhanced by sound and music, turning every operation into a tense war drama. Features of the game Turn-based battles in a Cold War setting. Two story campaigns for opposing sides. Tactics based on armor, terrain and destruction. Powerful staff orders that change the course of an operation.
