About the game

From June 14th to 18th, an army of gamers, as expected, were glued to their screens. But they were primarily occupied not with yet another playthrough, but with watching the events of E3. There was plenty of talk about a Half-Life sequel, even though Valve didn't attend. The question of when to expect the third installment of the sci-fi action game remains unanswered. We'll continue to wait, and fans of the series will be able to pass the time with this project. Half-Line MiamiThe game's title clearly indicates that it's a mix of Half-Life and the 2D Swedish indie Hotline Miami. The development of Half-Line Miami Dutch enthusiast Thomas Cole is working on the game. It's certainly something independent, and therefore original. You'll watch Gordon Freeman's actions (yes, he's the main character) from above. His primary weapon will be a cannon that helps him defy gravity. Everything is simple and familiar: you can grab that barrel and throw it at that monster. The creator has already completed work on the gameplay; now he's designing maps. On June 19th, the first video demonstrating the features appeared on YouTube. Half-Line MiamiThe process is dynamic and carefree, so while away the evenings dreaming about Half-Life 3 will be pleasant. So, how does Valve feel about this initiative? Neutral so far. It would be great if the Dutchman's game prompted the company to share some news about the legendary series sooner. Requests for at least some official information about the third installment come frequently. Sometimes they take an unusual form. For example, in February, Fence Post Productions published a video titled "Half-Life 3: Unannounced." It depicts Gordon Freeman, who has gained significantly weight and become quite clumsy. And it's all out of boredom — he wants to fight, but they won't let him in... When will they let him in? One can only speculate here, and don't be upset if they're wrong. Huffpost Tech wrote in the winter that the announcement could happen at the spring GDC 2015, but they were wrong. But no matter, there are still plenty of exhibitions ahead, plus a torrent to download. Half-Line Miami It will be possible soon.
