Goblin Company is a co-op game about goblin miners sent to retrieve the legendary Giant Crystal. Their superiors assure them that the treasure exists, and the reward for it will change the life of any worker. However, when asked about the fate of previous expeditions, the company prefers not to answer. Armed with laser drills, torches, and a thirst for profit, they must descend ever deeper, carving their own path through the rock, hoping that the next discovery will outweigh the challenges that lie ahead. The mine lives by its own rules There are almost no ready-made roads here. Any new direction must be forged independently, gradually transforming the wild caves into a veritable underground labyrinth. Behind the next layer of rock could lie a rich vein of resources, an abandoned section of an old mine, or something utterly inhospitable. The more time passes underground, the more tempting it becomes to peer even further and see what lies around the next bend. The work isn't limited to just resource extraction. The minecarts won't move on their own, so rail routes have to be built between key points. While some of the team handles logistics, the rest fend off the locals and maintain proper lighting. Darkness becomes a constant companion for the expedition. Forgetting torches for even a few minutes can lead to a nasty end to even a simple resource foray.
