Gloom - System Breach – a 3D sci-fi action game with platform elements from MudPie Studio, released on May 16, 2025. You control a small robot who wakes up inside a broken system and, piece by piece, brings it back to life. Restarting in parts The system in which the hero awakens is malfunctioning and cannot be activated in its entirety. It must be activated subsystem by subsystem: find the necessary electronic components, return them, and open the path to the next section. The components are guarded by enemies, so each step ends in combat. As the game progresses, the robot develops combat skills, so by the later sections, it is noticeably stronger. The camera is kept behind the player, the game is linear, and the route is almost always clear. A partner with hints You won't have to figure it out alone: a second small robot flies nearby. It shows you the way and gives you hints about what to do next if you get stuck. The locations are noticeably different from each other, each with its own visual style, enemies, and puzzles. Some challenges are solved by jumping and platforming, which is why the game is also classified as a puzzle platformer in Steam's tags. Light and shade The atmosphere here is created by the lighting: the interplay of light, shadows, and reflections in the dark, electronic corridors. The settings feature five graphics modes, two of which utilize ray tracing, and its quality is selectable between the Performant and Quality profiles.
