Gelatina is Hungry – an arcade game about a voracious space slime from the indie studio Under Castle, released on September 21, 2024. The original game is called Gelatina tiene hambre, and the heroine has one goal: eat everything and grow. The more you eat, the bigger you become. Gelatin has arrived from space hungry and is wreaking havoc wherever she goes. You guide her through levels and platforms, consuming everything she can fit. As she grows, she can swallow increasingly larger objects, and what was once an obstacle becomes food. Along the way, she encounters enemies and traps that try to stop her. The pace is fast: if you fall behind or remain too small, the game ends with a GAME OVER screen. Earth and space The game is divided into two parts, Earth and Space, each with its own mechanics, enemies, and food. There are 18 levels in total, and by the end, Gelatin grows to such a size that she reaches outer space. There's a normal mode for a more relaxed experience, and an extreme mode for those who enjoy a challenge. The humor is absurd, and the graphics are bright and cartoonish, even though the game itself is 3D. Points and records Each item eaten earns points, and some items are worth more than others. If you don't leave anything on the level, you can get into the high-score table. For competitive players, speed is also important: the fastest player with the highest score wins.
