Gears of War: E-Day — a prequel to the series about the day the Locust first burst from the ground of Sera and caught humanity by surprise. Marcus Fenix and Dom Santiago are fourteen years younger than in the first Gears of War, and they witness the war with the underground creatures for the first time. Bravo Squad Men Dom had already lost his brother, Carlos, to the war, killed in action against the UIR.
