Furs of Fury – a small strategy game with action and role-playing elements from the team at Your Infamous, fully released on July 17, 2021, after a year in Early Access. Forest animals and insects battle it out, and the first one to break the enemy's crystals wins. Rats against the forest The premise is like a fairy tale. Rats have overrun the countryside, and demonic creatures are crawling across the former forests. The peaceful forest dwellers have gone wild, and you must decide who is friend and who is foe. The game's slogan is a pun: in the English phrase about friend and foe, the word "foe" is replaced with "fur." Who will you join against this common misfortune? It's up to you to decide. Ants, ladybugs, and fire flowers The goal of each match is the same: destroy your opponent's crystals and preserve your own. To achieve this, insects with different roles are brought into the battle. Ants are resourceful and efficient, ladybugs heal their allies, and spiders attack with ferocity. In addition to creatures, you can plant plants on the field: healing herbs and fire flowers that repel pests. The limit is strict: no more than six creatures and six items per player, so you must choose your lineup wisely. The items are inspired by classic literature, role-playing games, and strategy games. Co-op, PvP, and editor You can play solo, in online co-op, or against other players online, and there's a level editor for those who enjoy crafting. The art was done by Ryan Francis, the music was composed by Caerus, and the lyrics were by Brendan Bagley. The game is free on Steam, and reviews are few, but almost all are positive.
