Forged of Blood – a turn-based tactical RPG set in a fantasy world from Critical Forge, released on August 1, 2019. The developers deliberately emphasized depth and complex mechanics over simplicity. Prior to its release, the game received awards for Most Promising Project at PopCon Asia 2017 and Game Prime Asia 2018. Civil War in Attiras The action takes place in the world of Attiras, engulfed in civil war. There are no clear good or bad sides, and decisions are often difficult and have dire consequences. On a global map, you lead up to three squads across the continent, capturing territory, monitoring the loyalty of conquered lands, and developing characters. Instead of the usual good and evil scale, actions are assessed along three personality axes: altruism, rationalism, and hedonism. No classes Characters aren't tied to tank, fighter, or healer roles. Nine weapon types and a comprehensive magic system allow for a wide variety of character builds. Each weapon has its own skill tree, plus six shared skill trees. A squad of up to five players has two sets of weapons each. Character composition, smart turn order, and battle positioning are crucial in combat. The spell's basis is drawn from six elemental primalities, each with eight effect classes.
