Exile to Death – an online survival game set in a post-alien war world, started solo by Alexey Milchakov and published by Manifestors Games Studio. It launched in Steam Early Access on June 1, 2018, featuring an open world, crafting, shelter building, and skirmishes with other players. Exiled to Earth The backstory is grim. Alien lifeforms invaded humans to bolster their cyborg army and conquer space. Humanity fought back, but at a huge cost: a select few were sent to a space station with strict laws. Those who violated these laws were exiled to die on Earth, which, after a long war, was almost uninhabitable. Some of the survivors sat out the war underground or in protective capsules. Surviving aliens still roam the planet, and the native fauna has either died out or changed beyond recognition over the years. Resources, crafting, and a fortified home The player arrives on the surface as an exile and starts from scratch. They must explore the area, gather resources, craft items, and build a home that can withstand attack. You can move around on foot, by car, or on horseback. It's not just the cyborgs who pose a threat: other exiles also want to survive, and battles between players are commonplace. Solo play is also possible, but the core of the game is online battles for survival. Project status The game remains in Early Access, with the last update a long time ago. The developers themselves stated that the current version is closer to alpha and lacks save-the-world functionality, and the full release was expected to be significantly different.
