The secretive Arque corporation is behind these events, and the further the protagonist progresses, the more he learns about its dangerous dealings. He must piece together the details himself: from computers, audio logs, and observations of his surroundings. Fists and firearms Most of the time is spent exploring and solving puzzles, but combat is also possible. Combat is both hand-to-hand and armed, and the designer tried to make it as realistic as possible. The island's inhabitants don't greet the stranger with much joy, so it's best to keep your weapons at the ready. The game contains blood and light horror elements, but the overall tone is more unsettling than scary. One author and a community The game was essentially a one-man operation, with the community of players assisting with translations and testing. The game runs on Windows, macOS, and Linux.
