Empire of Lust – an adult visual novel from Carnality INC, published by Taboo Tales, released November 8, 2025. Set in Ancient Rome, the main theme is the politics of noble houses, where intimacy serves as a means of influence just as much as money and connections. Inheritance with debts The hero returns home after his father's death and inherits a noble house in its entirety, along with family secrets and considerable debts. Rumors of his debauchery have long circulated in the city, and he has no intention of denying them. On the contrary, he uses his reputation to rise above the rest. He begins as an heir, looked down upon by the nobility, and ends up at the very pinnacle of Roman society. Feasts, nobility and intrigues The hero's main tools are feasts in his own home, connections with the city's elite, and the ability to negotiate with those in power. Noblemen can be seduced and pushed into making the right decisions. The plot hinges on intrigue, and betrayal is quite possible on both sides. Getting close to characters opens new paths to power, but this also has a downside: the hero's hobbies easily become a weakness, exploited by rivals. The hero's environment A circle of confidants gradually gathers around the hero. Among them are a courtesan, a former slave, a mysterious assassin, and a princess from a foreign land, each with her own story and reasons for sticking close.
