Elemental War 2 – a 3D tower defense game from Clockwork Origins, a sequel to Elemental War, released on May 6, 2022. The series' core mechanics remain intact: new towers are unlocked only after defeating elementals, powerful enemies from whom you must loot their stones. Portal to Hell and Elemental Stones A poorly constructed portal has opened a path out of the underworld, and monsters are pouring out. They can only be stopped by a line of defensive towers. Regular waves are only part of the threat here. Elementals with special abilities appear from time to time, trying to rob you of everything you've built. Defeating such an enemy yields their elemental stone, which is used to build a new tower. The more elements collected, the more tower combinations and new levels become available. Combinations and tasks A single strong tower isn't enough here. Each type excels in its own way, and the one who skillfully combines them on the map wins. Side quests help: they unlock items that buff towers or weaken enemies at the right moment. The maps are handcrafted, eleven in total, across three settings: forest, ice, and desert. There are enough secrets and different strategies to keep you entertained for dozens of hours, or so the developers promise. Co-op and records You can play through the maps solo or in online co-op, including cross-platform, making it easy to defend with a friend. The top-down view, 3D graphics, and design blend medieval fantasy with steampunk elements. For those who enjoy competition, there are global leaderboards.
