Horror games continue to enter the gaming market, and this is encouraging, not in terms of quality, but in terms of quantity. We're all longing for high-quality horror games that could emulate or even surpass the world-famous Silent Hill. One project would have succeeded, and it was called PT, although this game is set in the Silent Hill universe. But don't be discouraged, as PT's release has sparked a wave of inspiration, and many developers are now trying to replicate the success of this unreleased game. For example, indie developer Renat Aruffo is actively working on a project called Eleanor's Stairway and is making great progress. Eleanor's Stairway This is the story of a priest who kept a parishioner in his mansion until her death. Even after her death, the ghost of the abused and disfigured girl began to haunt everyone who dared to visit the mansion. So, you have to run around the enormous structure, trying to avoid the ghost's path. As in classic modern horror films, there's no fighting; only cover, doors, and your own two feet can save you. Eleanor's Stairway Developed using Unity 5.2, the demo is currently available for download, and the game is scheduled for release in 2016. This new horror game looks intriguing and has the potential to be frightening, and we can only hope that this atmosphere will last throughout the game.
