Resources (especially Vilotite, discussed below) are crucial in the game for the full functioning of a base. They are collected by specialized equipment and sent to processing plants. Higher-ranking classes will be unlocked by constructing special buildings. You can command various units at your headquarters: a soldier preparing to go to the front lines, a technician repairing vehicles, and so on. The year is 2045 – a time of global unrest, protests, mass unrest, and civil war. Scientists have discovered a unique resource, Vilotite, from which any element can be produced or used as an energy source. A system of satellites has been launched into Earth orbit to study materials for the subsequent development of conversion and other bombs. This "Earthbreaker Project" was originally designed to be safe and pose no threat to populated areas. Even the system's first test was successful, extracting enough Vilotite to supply the eastern United States for a week. In celebration, the system was immediately put into full operation, but a group of hackers interfered with the process and blew it up. Fifteen years later, in 2060, the Earthbreaker system is no longer fully functional, and orbital bombardments continue. Many nations on Earth have banded together to gather resources with each bomb detonation.
