Duriano is an arena-based action roguelike in which an armored Durian hero battles through the scorching Muspelheim and destroys armies of the creatures of Surtr. After Ragnarok, the world was devastated by strange magic, transforming all life into vegetables and fruits, while the remnants of ancient warriors gained new forms and powers. Instead of serious fantasy, the game blends Norse gods, insane abilities, and intense arena battles, where the screen fills with monsters, fire, and endless attacks in seconds. Divine powers instead of regular leveling Weapons of the Gods, "Tastes of Fate," and divine paths feel like the foundation of the entire fight. Some abilities transform the hero into a walking explosion, incinerating crowds of enemies around them, while others allow them to keep their distance and shower the arena with lightning bolts, ice strikes, or a barrage of projectiles. Even the same Durian can feel completely different depending on the buffs unlocked during the run and how they're combined. Muspelheim quickly becomes a bloodbath. Small creatures overwhelm you with their numbers, large monsters cover half the map with their attacks, and bosses force you to constantly reposition yourself amidst utter chaos. The further you advance, the more aggressive the enemy waves become, and the more the game accelerates the pace. In the later stages, the arena nearly vanishes under the sheer number of effects, attacks, and monsters rushing in from all directions simultaneously, making survival depend not only on your reactions but also on your build.
