Dungeons of DUSK – a turn-based dungeon crawler RPG set in the DUSK universe from 68k Studios, published by New Blood Interactive. Canonically, the events take place between the episodes of the original game. A Steam release date has not yet been announced, but a demo is already available. DUSK, but in cells The original DUSK, released in 2018, was a fast-paced, old-school shooter with a 90s feel. Dungeons of DUSK Takes the same world and the same enemies, but changes the pace completely. The view is still first-person, but now you move along a grid, cell by cell, like in classic dungeon crawlers, and combat is turn-based. The visuals are rendered in 2.5D with hand-drawn graphics. Familiar enemies from the shooter are still present, but new ones have been added, significantly increasing the challenge. Thirty campaign levels The main mode is a 30-level campaign. Along the way, both your character and the NPCs you encounter develop. The atmosphere is dark, with Lovecraftian references and plenty of gore. New Blood's signature irony remains: the game page greets the player with a question about their worthy status, hinting that not everyone will be able to complete it. Arena, bosses and survival In addition to the campaign, the game features separate modes. The endless arena tests your mettle, the boss rush challenges you to think quickly against a series of powerful opponents, and the survival mode tests your endurance. There's also a level editor, so you can build your own dungeons. The system requirements on the Steam page are jokingly listed; there are no specific numbers.
