Dungeon of Destiny – a 2D roguelike with RPG and strategy elements from the indie studio Chaotic Banana. No Steam release date has been announced yet. The main idea is that instead of traditional loot, you collect character traits, which then shape your character's class, appearance, and combat style. The game is unrelated to Destiny 2, only the name is the same. Traits instead of prey After battles and peaceful encounters, the game offers a choice of traits. The hero can become smart or strong, kind or cruel, and each choice changes something. Traits can be combined: two create a new trait, class, or special effect. There are over a hundred traits and classes in total, and there are synergies between them that are essential for defeating powerful opponents. The developers give examples: a stubborn paladin, an arrogant mage, a sociable heretic — and all of these can be combined in a single character. Not every enemy you meet The path leads through unusual places inhabited by strange creatures. How each encounter unfolds depends largely on the character's personality. You don't have to fight every single one: some of the dungeon's inhabitants can be dealt with. The character's appearance, combat style, and behavior change throughout the run, rather than being set at the beginning. The goal of each run is the same: reach the heart of the dungeon. Tactics and auto-battle According to Steam, the game combines turn-based tactics and automated combat, with hand-drawn 2D graphics. It's single-player only.
