About the game

Drop Dead: The Cabin is a retro horror film that blends 80s aesthetics with disturbing madness. Neon reflects off the blood, and the screen flickers like an old VCR recording its own death. The protagonist awakens in an abandoned house, where every room conceals a fragment of someone else's memory, and the entire story seems rewound and corrupted by time. A movie that I forgot the ending of The player explores the cabin, finding old tapes, scraps of photographs, and devices emitting meaningless sounds. Enemies here aren't always tangible — sometimes they exist only in a distorted recording. Light must be watched, as it can burn out images and destroy the record. Every action leaves a trace, like a recording on magnetic tape. Gradually, it becomes clear that the cabin is an archive of other people's nightmares, gathered into a loop. Background noises become clues, images become traps. The horror doesn't come from outside — it manifests itself on the screen as the tape begins to burn. The game makes you wonder whether the protagonist is still alive, or has long since become part of an old recording that simply doesn't know how to end. Features of the game A psychological horror film with elements of visual surrealism and VHS stylization. A story unfolding through found footage, noise, and visual glitches. A "reality rewriting" mechanic that influences the behavior of the environment. Neon shadows, retro soundtrack and old video film visual effects.
