About the game

Drill Deep is an idle clicker with a dark, cowpunk aesthetic, where ordinary resource mining gradually turns into a journey into something ancient and twisted. Instead of execution, the protagonist receives a "pardon" from the Empire and is sent to supervise the drilling of a new mine. At first, everything seems like a familiar, incremental routine: dig blocks, expand your base, build new mechanisms, and monitor the production growth. Then the mine begins to respond. The mine calls down The deeper the drill goes, the stranger the discoveries become. Unidentifiable symbols, fossilized forms, and remnants of something that existed long before humanity appear in the rock. The game slowly changes the mood: the cozy automation with its smoking chimneys and growing production gradually begins to feel like a path to something that should never have been disturbed. The horror approach itself works particularly well. There's no jumping in the player's face with jump scares or trying to suddenly startle them. Instead, everything is built on the feeling of a gradual descent into the abyss, where you continue to dig deeper, even knowing it's a bad idea. Idle mechanics, base building, and automation suddenly come into play as part of a slow, Lovecraftian madness. Features of the game Idle clicker with a cowpunk atmosphere. Construction and automation of the mine. Lovecraftian horror without jumpscares. Procedural generation and roguelite mode.
