Deus Ex is a series of first-person action RPGs set in a cyberpunk setting, the first game of which was released in 2000. To date, the series comprises four games, and a fifth, Deus Ex: Universe, is scheduled to be released this year. However, it will have a slightly different concept. The project will combine elements from all games in the series, as well as books and comics. It will be a sprawling, constantly evolving and expanding world. The plot's intrigues will be invariably linked to previous installments in the series. The project is powered by the new Dawn Engine. With its help, the developers promise to create high-quality gameplay and a similar storyline. Deus Ex: Universe is expected to be a trilogy, with games for mobile devices in addition to the console version.
