About the game
Deep Pixel Melancholy is a visual novel about a man who one day stopped moving forward with time. Yegor lives in the far north, works in a boring department at a research institute, counts his paychecks, and dreams of one day getting to the sea. Day after day, everything goes the same way until the familiar routine breaks completely. Now every morning begins anew, and the snowy city outside the window seems to deliberately refuse to let him go beyond the same day. When tomorrow never comes again At first, the time loop seems almost like a gift. No need to worry about work, bills, or the consequences of your own decisions. You can say whatever you want, do things you never had the courage to do before, and not think about the future. But the longer this endless cycle continues, the stronger the feeling that something inside Yegor has stopped along with time. The story unfolds among snow-covered courtyards, empty bus stops, entryways, and apartments, where every conversation reveals more than initially appears. The player must choose how to behave in different situations, interact with others, and gradually piece together the story. And most importantly, decide whether it's really worth seeking a way out if the same old life awaits them. Features of the game A story about a time loop, loneliness and the search for meaning. Several endings depending on the decisions made. The atmosphere of a northern city in the early 2000s. Pixel graphics, animations and various mini-games.
