About the game
Deadcam is a first-person psychological horror film where fear is born not from the darkness, but from observation. Three ghost hunters lock themselves in an abandoned house for a new episode of a failed show, hoping to regain their fame. But filming quickly turns into a desperate attempt to survive when the camera begins to see things that don't exist. It captures faces, movements, and reactions, but soon the lens becomes a window into another reality, where the gaze can kill. When the recording does not stop Everything that happens is captured on film. The house seems to breathe, watching every step, and things no one has ever photographed appear in the frame. The camera reacts to the slightest sound, heightening the sense of paranoia: a step, a breath, the crack of a board — and the face on screen distorts into a grimace of horror. Her co-cameraman, Margot, loses touch with reality: her camera has a life of its own, and her facial expressions reflect not emotion, but a fear that is not human. Escape becomes impossible. The sound of footsteps echoes down the hallway, and it seems as if someone is following. The light from the flashlight is blinding, turning the walls into a flickering mess of shadows. The lens shakes, capturing not what you see, but what's looking back at you. The camera is no longer a tool — it's a being that has decided to end the shoot its own way. Features of the game A dynamic camera system that captures facial expressions and reactions in real time. An atmosphere of documentary horror, where sound and light are both a weapon and a threat. Psychological pressure based on observation and violation of personal boundaries. A story that unfolds in real time without the usual cutscenes and interfaces.
