Velvet Island, 1985 The story takes place in England in 1985. Private detective Miles Wyndham is trying to understand the death of his daughter, and all clues lead to Velvet Island. At first, the locals simply behave strangely, but their hostility toward the stranger grows, and soon Miles is forced to fight for his life. There are more than fifteen characters on the island, each with their own story, somehow connected to its dark secrets. Evidence and Reason Investigating here isn't just for show. The environment needs to be examined, objects studied, documents read, and the clues found form the basis for answers. They also unlock hiding places and secret passages. Every encounter with the monsters takes a toll on Miles's psyche: the worse his condition, the more intense the hallucinations, and at some point it becomes difficult to discern what's real and what's not. Thirteen types of enemies There are thirteen types of enemies, some of which constantly pursue the hero. Each can be dealt with in various ways: fight, flee, or outwit. Resources and inventory space are limited, so it's best to plan your route in advance, as in classic games of the genre.
