Dead Format is a survival horror game inspired by the atmosphere of 90s VHS classics. The player explores a terrifying world of old tapes to find their missing brother. Traveling between films from different eras, they will face nightmares from which there is no escape — until the screen goes dark forever. Cursed Recordings The story unfolds in the protagonist's apartment, where an old television becomes a portal to a world of video horror. After inserting a tape, the player enters distorted spaces inspired by silent films, giallo, body horror, and home recordings. Each tape is a new story, where the boundaries between film and reality blur. Explore, search for resources, solve puzzles, and defend yourself from monsters born from the film. You can only save your progress when you return home. Between viewings, you collect clues, reconstruct the plot, and prepare for the next leap.
