Dawn of Fear – a survival horror in the vein of the old Resident Evil games from the small Spanish indie group Brok3nsite. The game initially released exclusively on PlayStation 4 in February 2020, and then came to PC on June 11, 2020. Fixed-angle cameras, tank-like controls, and the constant lack of ammo are all present here. Return to the mansion Alex was twenty when his father and half-brother died in a car accident. His stepmother, Jessica, never recovered and committed suicide five years later. Alex returns to the old family home and finds it a place of madness and cruelty: zombies and worse creatures roam the hallways. It gradually becomes clear that Jessica has been kidnapping people for years, trying to use alchemy to bring back her husband and son. To escape, he will have to figure out exactly what she did. Every bullet counts The game's resources are just enough to survive, but not enough to kill everyone. Over the course of a playthrough, you'll find approximately 112 pistol rounds, 30 shotgun rounds, 12 magnum rounds, and 14 first aid kits. It's best to save the magnum for bosses; some larger enemies are best walked rather than run. Health is depicted in an unusual way: notebook pages are wrinkled from wounds and stained with blood when the player is on edge. The first two bosses aren't downed by bullets. Brian the gardener, a massive golem made of corpses, is defeated with a crane, and Abi the housekeeper must be burned in a furnace. Puzzles and notes Puzzles hinder progress, and they are solved through logic and careful examination of the rooms. Story details are scattered throughout notes, and it's worth reading them to understand where to go. In the second half, tall, fast creatures appear that you can't outrun, requiring heavy weapons.
