Northern tribe against the empire The Imperium Aeternum's legions are advancing on the northern lands. This shadow empire seeks to erase both the lands themselves and the memory of the local gods. A tribe holds the last line of defense, wielding the Spiridun, a divine artifact of their ancestors. The setting is based on Norse themes: Vikings, runestones, and mythology. The plot serves as the backdrop, focusing on combat and economics. First the trenches, then the assault Each battle is divided into two phases. The first is similar to a classic tower defense: waves of Imperials break through the trenches, and you place towers and summon warriors to hold them back. In the second phase, the roles reverse, and your heroes and your squad lay siege to enemy positions in real time. There are several heroes, each with their own abilities, and the outcome depends greatly on which one you bring into battle. Imperial commanders also operate differently, and their tactics can be learned and adapted over time. Islands and Runes Captured islands become footholds: towers are built there, resources are collected, and the economy, without which the army cannot be fed, is developed. Defeats are built into the game's very structure, like in roguelites. A lost battle doesn't reset everything: runestones provide permanent upgrades for towers, warriors, and economy, making the next attempt stronger.
