Dark Quest 2 – a turn-based role-playing game from Brain Seal, released on March 6, 2018. It grew out of the authors' love for the tabletop game HeroQuest: a group of heroes descends into the castle of an evil sorcerer, and the outcome of many situations is determined by dice. The Sorcerer's Castle The campaign is structured as a series of individual maps, each reminiscent of a board game. You lead your party through labyrinths, search for secret doors, fight orcs and other dungeon dwellers, and delve deeper with each map. The ultimate goal is the same: reach the sorcerer's chambers and put an end to him. The hand-drawn isometric graphics also resemble a board game set. Move by move Each hero takes one action per turn, so the order of decisions is more important than it seems. Characters have different personalities and strengths, and the party must be assembled to complement each other. When the going gets tough, the Skull of Doom remains: its throw can save the party or ruin everything. Between raids, the heroes return to the village, where they learn new abilities, forge weapons, and brew potions. Editor and play with friends In addition to the campaign, the game features a map editor that allows you to create your own adventures and upload them to the Steam Workshop. The story can also be played in co-op with friends, online, or on a single computer. The authors cite Darkest Dungeon, Talisman, and Warhammer Quest as sources of inspiration.
